2012 Olympieda winner
Ido Fridman from Hod Hasharon, “Hakfar Hayarok” school student, is the 2012 Olympieda winner. Ido beat five other competitors in the Olympeida final quiz. The final was held at MadaTech on November 8th, 2012, in front of hundreds of middle school students who got to watch the six competitors demonstrating great knowledge and answering a verity of questions on the matter of “inventions and revelations” which is the main Olympieda subject this year.

Every year thousands of 8th and 9th grade students from all over the country take MadaTech’s Olympieda test and we try to find those who stand out the most in the field of science. The top 30 arrive at a summer workshop that takes place in MadaTech and the Technion. The workshop deals with a main scientific subject.
The top six participants from the workshop make it to the final that takes place in MadaTech and the winner receives a prize – a full scholarship for the first year of studying in the Technion.
