About Barbara Morgan:

Barbara Morgan joined NASA as a teacher-astronaut and was Christa McAuliffe's substitute. McAuliffe was onboard the space shuttle Challenger and was killed tragically, with the entire crew, when it crashed during liftoff.
After the incident Morgan stayed at NASA as a teacher in the education department of the American space agency.
On January 1998 Morgan joined NASA’s Astronaut staff and in 2007 took part in mission STS-118, in which she carried out tasks, experiments and even taught an online lesson from space.
