Poster design competition is underway
The European Union, the Ministry of Science and Technology and research institutions participating in the project, announced the opening of Poster Design Contest for Researchers Night 2010, during the pan-European competition to design this poster.
Night of the researchers - Researchers Night
Researchers' Night (Night of the researchers or "Researchers Night" Israeli version) is a night of events and various scientific activities, including meetings with scientists, nighttime tours about science and nature, demonstrations, workshops, sessions and many diverse activities suitable for the whole family. This evening open research institutions and science museums their doors to the public free of charge.
This event is taking place across Europe and in Israel, for the fourth year, in September, in order to bring the public to the research community, to present new research and public interest to various scientific issues.
Announcements, elected the first places in the competition Israel (Phase I), will the pan-European competition (Phase II), and EU jury will select the overall winner announcement, used the official poster Researchers' Night in Europe in 2010.
Rules of Competition
On the poster to illustrate the project objectives Researchers' Night. And recommended (optional) incorporate elements combined mark (logo), the European Union and the International Symbol for Researchers' Night.
Poster captions appear only in English.
The design competition will take place on two tracks:
Track A - students and the general public.
Track B - students in institutions of higher education for art and design and those involved in the design field.
Each track will select three posters, that will combine B of the competition.
Submission Format: proposals should be submitted in digital format only - PDF or JPEG files, allow resolution A3 printing quality.

Bids must be submitted by the date 16.08.2009 proposals received after the date and not according to the rules of competition - will be disqualified.
Competition judging team members understand proclaiming representatives and representatives recognized in design and art. The works will be presented to the jury anonymously. Members of the judging panel will not participate in this competition. Judging meeting will be held within two weeks from the last day for submission of bids.

Will receive
The announcement of the winners and presentation of works in the exhibition will be held as part of the opening events of Researchers Night 2009 will take place on September 24, 2009. The works will be shown in exhibitions in institutions participating in the project and on the website of the Ministry of Science.
Participation in the competition gives the EU the copyrights posters. Can and will become the winning poster minor changes, including adding text and logos. Can and will be used on posters for the EU's education and information purposes. Using the poster will be giving credits (credit) poster creators.
It should be noted that the competition does not carry cash prizes. Participation in the competition and winning in regulation designer / A winning publication and dissemination of the winning poster along with his name throughout Europe, with all that implies.
