The president, Shimon Peres, was impressed by MadaTech’s activity

About 9000 visitors arrived at the president’s Sukkah, on Monday 27.09.10 during the traditional open day at the president’s house, which was held in cooperation with The Ministry of Economy’s Blue and White committee, The Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development and The Ministry of Science, Technology & Space.
Israel National Museum of Science, Technology, and Space, joined the initiative and a special team on the museum’s behalf arrived at the president’s house in order to present interesting and fun scientific content to the wide audience. The visitors at the president’s Sukkah were able to enjoy and operate interactive exhibits of the “Leonardo Da Vinci” and “Magical Science” exhibitions, which are displayed regularly at MadaTech, as part of the science and technology educational activities in the museum.

Among the presidents guests during Sukkot were also the robot NAO and Aibo the robotic dog, the stars of “The Robotic World”, MadaTech’s successful exhibition. The Robots and the team presented the innovations of technology and science in a joint performance during the day. The audience that took part in the event got the opportunity to witness the robots’ performance which received enthusiastic cheers. The visitors also talked and took pictures with the robots.
As part of the visit, president Peres received explanations about the robots from MadaTech’s CEO, Dr. Ronen Mir and waved hello to NAO the robot.
